We have free use of computers and wi-fi, and staff who are able to help you setting up an email, writing a resume, or applying for a job online. You can drop in to use our computers anytime, and use our Book-a-librarian service to book a time with a library staff member for further assistance.

How to apply

There are lots of online resume and cover letter examples and templates that can help you get started.

  • Careers.govt.nz has resume templates and a CV builder, as well as cover letter templates. The templates will let you put in your own information to create a resume. The CV builder will ask you questions and give you help along the way.
  • Seek.co.nz has resume and cover letter templates
  • Use our Book-a-librarian service to get help from library staff on setting up a resume
  • The Citizens Advice Bureau in Rangiora also provides a resume help service.
Study and training options

You may want to consider training or study to improve your ability to get the job you want.
