We have a collection of eBooks, eAudiobooks and children’s eBooks.
Library members can access these on their own eReading device or computer. All loans are free of charge. You will need a valid library card with a PIN to access our eBooks.
BorrowBox contains eAudiobooks and eBooks for adults, youth and children.
If you have a tablet, you can download the free BorrowBox app from your app store.

You can borrow 5 eBooks and 5 eAudiobooks for two weeks at a time, with the option to renew once.
Download eAudio and eBook titles with the Libby app, from OverDrive.
OverDrive contains over 10,000 fiction and non-fiction titles for adults, young adults and children.
Access is free for library members - just enter your library card number and PIN. You can have up to five loans and five holds at any one time.

To access Story Box Library at home:
The 'Wheelers ePlatform' app will no longer be used by Waimakariri Libraries as of 31st October 2020.
Instead we will continue on with our other eBook apps, Libby and BorrowBox. All of the titles currently available on Wheelers will be transferred over to BorrowBox on this date.
ePlatform has the greatest number of our eBooks. If you have a tablet (iPad, Android or Kindle Fire) you can download the ePlatform app.
