Melanie Dixon is a writer of flash fiction, short stories, creative non-fiction, and novels for children. Her work has been published and anthologised in NZ and overseas, and she has been short-listed twice for the Storylines Tom Fitzgibbon Award. She is a graduate of Hagley Writers' Institute.

The School for Young Writers has been inspiring young writers for 25 years. Our tutors are all practising writers and skilled teachers.
