Family Night at the Libraries

Published: 28-May-2018

A Teddy Bear Sleepover is coming up at each of the Waimakariri Libraries. Sign up and bring your teddy along for the stories, craft and a teddy sleepover.

Teddy Bear Reading At A Table

Family Nights are designed for parents, to have the opportunity to enjoy fun library activities with their children, including stories, craft, or guest entertainment. These events occur once a term in each of the three Waimakariri Libraries.  Library staff see this as a way of engaging children and their parents or caregivers to form a positive relationship with librarians.

The next Family night is a Teddy Bear Sleepover, and children are encouraged to bring their teddy bear to listen to stories, create a teddy craft, and teddy can have a sleep over in the library.
