Waimakariri Libraries are excited to announce LEGO club at Kaiapoi Library!  We are now taking enrolments for the first two 5-week terms of LEGO club, as outlined on our website.  LEGO club is suitable for primary school aged children, and each session runs for one hour on a Wednesday afternoon.  Each week, children will be given a LEGO challenge and will have to use their imagination to build a LEGO creation that meets the challenge.  Open-ended constructive play is important for child development, and improves language and literacy skills – it is also a lot of fun!

 Club rules:

  • Respect the creations of others
  • Share the LEGO
  • All LEGO stays at the library
  • All LEGO club members must help clean up
  • Have fun!
